Frank and Mary Granteed started making thin crust tray pizza on Mulberry Street over 60 years ago. The family's still here. The recipe hasn't changed.
Frank and Mary Granteed came to the States in the 1950s with a family recipe and a plan. By 1965, they opened a small pizza shop on Mulberry Street in Scranton.
Over 60 years later, the family still runs the kitchen. Same thin crust. Same homemade sauce. Fresh dough made daily, every single morning.
The University of Scranton kids know it. The Dunmore regulars know it. If you've lived in Scranton, you've had a Granteed's tray.
Still making some of the best pizza in Scranton.
"Been around for many years and still makes some of the best pizza in Scranton. The hoagie pizza and wings are all very good. Fries are nice and crisp."
"Good delivery, consistently good food, and they always get special requests right. The perfect blend of fresh ingredients and a crust that's crispy and chewy."
